Positive Effects Using MTT with Kids

 MTT can release the fears and limiting beliefs that restrict your child from being all that they can be.

Tapping with the fingers on the MTT points stimulates a system of energy meridians. By stimulating these MTT spots even young children can correct disturbances underlying emotional and physical discomfort.

and the words they use when they tap. This is set up for kids to understand and be able to use.

 

 

 

The 9 MTT Tapping Points

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Side of the hand (karate chop)

2. Eyebrow

3. Side of the eye

4. Under the eye

5. Under the nose

6. Under the lower lip

7. Collar bone

8. under the arm

9. Top of the head

Giving their feelings a number:

0 means I'm OK                                                     10 means the feeling is absolutely terrible.

 The goal is to reach a feeling of 0 bad feelings.

Starting with the karate chop point (side of hand) tap with your other hand saying:

Even though I feel__________________, I'm a really great kid and I'm OK. Do this three times.

( sad, angry, mad, confused, hurt, worried, scared, afraid, anxious, etc.)

OR

Even though I have this _______________, I'm really a great kid and I'm OK.

(headache, stomach ache, pain in my side, problem, cut on my hand)

Now go to the tapping points (see diagram).  Starting at the eyebrow point:

These are examples. Put your own words into the tapping

Eyebrow: It hurts alot.

Side of eye: I'm afraid.

Under eye: It's not fair.

Under nose: I can't do anything about it.

Under lower lip: I'm going to fail.

Collar bone: Angry.

Under arm: Really scared.

Top of head: I don't know what to do.

Take a deep breath. Think about what you were tapping on. Is it any better? (1 to 10 scale).

Repeat the tapping until you feel OK.
