| Michael is a child with physical disabilities. He had a very difficult birth.
Michael had five (5) cardiac arrests within the first ten (10) minutes of his life. The prognosis wasn't good. He couldn't breathe on his own and was on a respirator 24 hours a day. He had to be fed through a tube into his stomach.
Michael remained in the hospital for the first year and a half

So where is Michael now? You may be surprised.
Michael has made remarkable progress to being the best that he can be. He has worked very hard to get to where he is today. I am so proud of him. The belief he has in himself and what he is capable of has been one of the most important lessons I have learned in my lifetime. I thank God for allowing me to assist Michael on his path and allowing me to utilize energy medicine techniques with Michael.
Michael decided he wanted to play soccer. To do that he needed to learn to breathe on his own and to walk. Tall order that's for sure. But that didn't stop him. It took him two and a half years to do this. Finally, in grade two, he walked from the back of the classroom to the front and then turned around and walked back. In grade 4, Michael participated in a sack race on field day at school. That same day, he did a mile walk around the track and won a prize for completing it. He has gone on to play soccer, which was one of the things he wanted to do so badly. The story, Twice Victorious published in Friends magazine, is based on his accomplishment.
TWICE VICTORIOUS
In grade three, Michael's music teacher discovered a talent Michael has for natural rhythm and the ability to play the guitar very easily. This also was a way he developed his fine motor skills and had fun doing it. He now plays the drums in his school band.
Michael has gone on to being on the Honour Roll at school, starting a Random Act of Kindness Club and writing a song for children and having it professionally produced which can be purchased from our catalog.
WE THE CHILDREN
Does that sound like a child with a disability? I think not.
I told Michael he was now on the Internet. I asked him what he would tell you about all that has happened. There was a very long silence and then a weak, “I don’t know.” There was another long silence and then he said, “Just do it!”
Michael is one of many children with disabilities with whom I have worked. and used energy medicine techniques.
For the most part these children are lumped into categories, there to remain forever. By working with them, I have learned what true courage is, what trying really is all about and how, when we give our best, we all win. That winning may not be that the disability goes away. It may be that the child actually believes in him/herself and from there anything is possible. I have seen so many children excel.
To repeat the words of wisdom from Michael, “Just do it.”
Michael’s Mom had this to say, “His first step forward was knowing that someone believed in him.”
